Hey! I’m Theis, a professional drone pilot and videographer from Dresden, Germany. Since a young age, I’ve been fascinated by everything remote-controlled like boats, cars, or helicopters. When I turned 12, I got my first drone and quickly immersed myself in flying, building, and repairing them. I began to explore my creative side by making my first videos that unexpectedly gained traction on social media. This turned out to be the start of my career.

My first shoots, which I did while still in school, brought me into contact with various filmmakers and media production companies such as Sebastian Linda and Cine Emotions. During this time, I also produced my first music videos for the band 01099. Today, my international film commissions range from documentaries to commercials and product films. As part of my work, I am constantly traveling and working on my own projects, for instance in 2023, I won the GoPro Million Dollar Challenge. Besides filmmaking I’m also passionate about music and play drums/percussion for the bands Steaming Animals and Montezuma.
